The release of the much-awaited Mahesh Babu’s film Spyder has been postponed further. The initial release date was in June, but was later shifted to August. 

According to  sources, the makers have decided to postpone it further as they are planning to release it in mid-September. “Director A.R. Murugadoss wants more time for the post-production and needs at least two months for it.

Spyder was supposed to hit the screens on June 23. But it looks like the makers are planning to released the film by mid-September. Interestingly, the teaser of Spyder is expected to out on May 31.

Rakul Preet Singh will play the leading lady in the film, which has music by Harris Jayaraj.Jointly produced by Prasad and Tagore Madhu, SJ Suryah has been roped in to play the antagonist.

Story:-

Shivudu(Prabhas) is brought up by some native villagers. He grows up with special skills which turn out to be a mystery for every one. One fine day, he spots Avantika(Tamanna) and falls in love with her.

As time passes by, he comes to know that she and her group are trying hard to rescue the royal princes Devasena(Anushka) from the evil clutches of Bhalaladeva(Rana). Shivudu decides to help Avanitka and enters the Mahishmati Kingdom.

Plus Points:-

As you start watching Baahubali, one thing that hits you instantly is the scale of this magnum opus. The extravagant sets, spectacular visuals and the sheer magnitude has not been showcased in any Indian film before. One cannot shy away to laud Rajamouli for thinking something this huge and also executing it on such a mammoth scale. The war sequences and the way they have been executed are in true Hollywood style.

Minus Points:-

The story line of Baahubali is quite routine and predictable. The actual film kick starts only during the second half and ends abruptly which might leave you a bit unhappy. Anushka has nothing much to do in the film as her character will be revealed only during the second part.

The major action sequences have been shot in the deserts of Rajasthan. The huge sets resembling army camps and bunkers that you see in the teaser have been created by Saloo K George.

Apart from Rajasthan, the shooting has also been done in places like Ottapaalam and Pattambi.

The film, which also stars Sudheer Karamana, Renji Panicker, Kannan Pattambi, Manikuttan and Krishna Kumar, has been produced by Haneef Mohammed.

1971 Bharatha Sarihaddu is based on the true events of the 1971 India-Pakistan war and is scheduled to release on April 7, which marks Kerala’s major festival of Vishu.

Apart from this film, Mohanlal is also gearing up for his next Villain, whose first look was shared by the actor on social media platform. The film marks the fourth collaboration of the actor with director Unnikrishnan.

The most awaited first look of Prabhas from Bahubali 2 : The Conclusion is out today. The actor along with Tamannaah Bhatia, Rana Daggubatti and director S S Rajamouli was present at the poster launch event of the magnum opus at MAMI (Mumbai Academy Of Moving Image) Film Festival in Mumbai.

 

The big-budget film has been one of the most awaited films of the year. The prequel Bahubali: The Beginning was a blockbuster and it has earned a numbers of loyal fans to the franchise.

Prabhas the main lead of the film turns a year older tomorrow and on the occasion of his birthday, Rajamouli decided to release his look from the film.

Prabhas plays dual roles in the film as Bahubali and his son Mahendra Bahubali. In the poster, you see him walking with a sword in one hand a chain in another. 

You can see vengeance and anger in his eyes and in the back drop you can see an image of Bahubali. Looks like, Mahendra is all set to revenge his father’s death and win back the Mahismati throne.

 He will also revenge the pain and torture endowed upon his mother by Bhallal Dev. Bahubali 2: The Conclusion will take you through Mahendra Bahubali’s journey to victory and at the same unravel several unanswered secrets.

               Review : Majnu 

                                              

Story:-
Aditya(Nani) is an easy going youth who falls in love with Kiran(Anu Emanuel). He tries hard to woo her and finally manages to convince Kiran. When things seem to be going fine, a small problem leads the couple to break up with each other.
An upset Aditya lands in Hyderabad and moves on with his life. As time passes by, he starts liking Suma(Priya Shri) and reveals his tragic love story to her. Impressed by this Suma also falls flat for Aditya.
The twist in the tale arises when Aditya comes to know that Kiran is none other than Suma’s own cousin. What will Aditya do now ? How will he handle both his past and present ? Whom will he end up with finally? That forms the rest of the story.

Plus Points:-

It is no surprise that Nani is undoubtedly the heart and soul of the film. Majnu banks heavily on him and it is a cake walk for Nani who once again steals the show. He is superb as the lover boy and entertains throughout. Humour, grief, possessiveness, Nani shows all the emotions beautifully and holds the film completely. Right from the first frame, audience will own him and get connected through his role.

 Anu Emanuel makes a decent debut and is very good in the first half. All her love scenes with Nani have been shown quite freshly. Vennela Kishore is hilarious in his role and lightens up the proceedings during the initial part of the second half.
The comedy that is generated through Nani’s one-liners and comedy punches are written well. The climax of the film has been handled well and showcased in an interesting way which ends the film in a very happy space.

Minus Points:-

Majnu has a very interesting twist but the way it has been showcased during the interval lacks clarity. Nani’s transformation to get back his old love, scenes like these should have been showcase even more convincingly.
Yet another debutante, Priya Sri is not convincing in her role. No fault of her, the director should have etched her role in a slightly better way. There is absolutely no novelty factor in the film as the proceedings after a point, become quite predictable.

Fans of the star know that Chiranjeevi is making his comeback as a hero with his 150th movie, "Khaidi No 150," after nine years. A lot has been spoken and written about its story, director, heroine and other details, since the actor's followers have been curiously following every update related to this movie for a long time.

Chiru's son Ram Charan and wife Sureka are producing "Khaidi No 150," under the banner Konidela Production Company. Cherry, who is turning a producer with the movie, revealed on his Facebook page that its first look would be released on his birthday.                                     Rajinikanth's Kabali Gets U Certificate

Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali has been cleared with a U certificate with no cuts by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on Monday. The film releases worldwide on July 22. 

Directed by Pa Ranjith, Kabali features Rajinikanth in the role of a Malaysian don.

The film, which will also be released in Telugu and Hindi, co-stars Radhika Apte, Kishore, Dinesh, Kalaiarasan, Dhansikaa and Taiwanese actor Winston Chao.

Kabali is based on the story of a real life gangster and the film has been predominantly shot in Malaysia. On July 29, the film will also be dubbed and released in Malay.

Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
